This is absolutely NOT SPONSORED: although if BOXYCHARM wants to give a small blogger some coins I’m all here for it. Some of my followers have asked for the tea on BOXYCHARM so here I am.. spilling it as promised.
I’ve officially been a BOXYCHARM member since September 2017 and I must say I’ve been a happy camper thus far. For a long time I thought beauty subscription boxes were a big scam that convinced beauty lovers to pay for samples. I was surprised to find that there was a box out there that gave only full-sized products–that’s why I was completely sold about BOXYCHARM.
After getting a recommendation from a friend and stalking their Instagram, I decided to join the waitlist in August (which they consistently have) and give it a shot. One major con for BOXYCHARM is that there is pretty much always a waiting list however most people get off the list by the time payments are due for the next coming box. So let’s move right along to the actually deets of BOXYCHARM.

$21 per month (no shipping fees or tax added)—definitely affordable. Most of all, each box is typically valued over $100 so it’s definitely a steal.
Payment & Shipping
Payments are typically taken from your card on file on the 1st of the month and shipped out about a week later (so long as there isn’t any issues with your payments which may delay shipment.
Full or Travel (no sample sizes). This is my favorite part. Every now again you’ll get a travel sized product (meaning it is available for purchase from the brand in that size but it’s typically sold as convenient for traveling NOT the normal sized product.)
Number of Products
4-5 every month (so far all the boxes I’ve received has had 5 products). The products range between makeup, skincare, hair care and nails; pretty much a little bit of everything.
Drugstore / Luxury / Indi. BOXYCHARM tries its best to expose Charmers to a variety of brands that you may otherwise not be able to get familiar with. Some of my favorites have been MAC, Pur Cosmetics, Maybelline, Tarte and KNC Beauty.
Brands in the most recent box (Jan. 2018): Pur, Crown Brushes iT Cosmetics, Girlactik, Dr. Brandt.
Most products come in neutral tones that can work for many different skin tones and preferences. I see there is now a beauty quiz that you can take to let BOXYCHARM know your beauty preferences right from your Boxy account. However this is not available in the beginning to my knowledge.
My ultimate favorite product:
I don’t quite have a favorite box per say but one product I was impressed with was the …..lipstick. It was the PERFECT shade for me for the fall and it is a great formula (not too drying what so ever)/
Loyalty pays–as you continue with your subscription, you earn charms that allow you to get various perks like discounts in BOXY’s shop and free shipping.
There’s also a small percentage discount if you prepay for your subscription.
By scrolling through BOXYCHARM’s Instagram comments, it seems that on a monthly basis many charmers have issues with the boxes. Either things come broken, missing or the boxes aren’t received. The only issue I’ve experience was not receiving my box when I forgot to update my address after I moved however I received a new one about a week after I emailed them.
Overall, I am satisfied with BOXYCHARM and I look forward to recieving my box every month. Yes, every now again there are some products that I’m not in love with but I can’t beat being able to try so many products for $21. I get bored easily with beauty products so it’s great that BOXYCHARM tries to expose charmers to a wide variety.
I would say if you’re the slightest bit intrigued by this review try BOXYCHARM for at least a month. If your dissatified, you can always cancels. And no, I don’t have a coupon code because like I said earler…this post is not sponsored.
Here’s a look I created with this months BOXYCHARM box.
