I finally stopped pushing it off and threw my vision board party. I gathered some wine, food, craft materials and girls and had a wonderful time sitting and sipping while we gathered to think about what we wanted out of life guided by magazine cutouts. Vision boards are a great way to figuratively and literally take a look at the bigger picture and really lay out what it is that you see in your future or plan to make a reality, gluing your visions into existence.
What you will need
Crafts- including poster boards, glue sticks (not liquid it will wrinkle your magazine cutouts). scissors, glitter or other things to add to the design aspect,
Magazines (ask your girls to bring some so there is plenty)
Girl friends (the kind that you can see yourself spending your life with)
Food & Snacks (for me that was pasta, cheese slices and strawberries. Have something you know everyone can enjoy)
Wine (if you’re of age & also I wouldn’t recommend hard liquor if you were planning to actually be productive)
Music to get the creative juices flowing
A camera to document
My vision board consisted of things such as getting to know myself and not being afraid to be a little selfish in my younger years, traveling the world, building my career and finances in order to be set and invest in my own business, finding my
Prince King Charming, starting a family and loving every bit of me.
Here’s a glimpse of what my vision board party was like.
P.S. I may be should have recorded a video so you guys could get a better idea of what the atmosphere was like. It consisted of Future- Dirty Sprite 2, extreme laughter and good vibes.
Have you and your girlfriend done vision boards? If yes tell me about it. If no, gather your friends have a party and tell me how it went!
